Hello guys. Can you please rate my work? I tried to make this model so it could be use it in First Person Shooter game. I know it's far from actual game model but I would be grateful if you could point some things that need to be improved. It has 6529 polygons. For 3D view -> https://www.artstation.com/artwork/6a4A2V

You could push the materials a bit further and add some contrast by giving the small parts a different material. The engravings seem a bit to deep

modeling looks great!

yes I agree with @Zi0 regarding the materials.

wooden grip could also use some more details, currently looks like there is just height infomation for the diamond pattern, perhaps consider adding some subtle wear to the convex parts, and grunge for the concave parts.

Also imo I think a Sans-serif font would look better then the Serif font currently used.

Thanks @Zi0 and @e_manual . I'm still new to materials and texturing. I don't even know UI of Substance very well too. Can I also ask you if polycount is OK? Or it should be higher/lower?

For a game model you could go even higher with the polycount, I would model details like these because the back of the gun will be close to the camera.

Yeah, I'm not very satisfied with the hammer but I want to be careful with the polycount. Next time I'll do better. Also thank you for tutorials.

Cool, just keep in mind for nxet time that pistol have around 14k polygons in AAA games these days
