Hi guys, first time posting here!

Over the past few weeks I've been working on an 80's Sci-Fi Fan's Office, still got a bunch of stuff to sort & redo but hopefully I'm on the right track! Any feedback would be massively helpful, I've been staring at this for far too long!

I think you could cut down a bit on depth of field.

Im digging it! I agree with @Carabiner though that the chromatic aberration is too strong, and the DOF is a little on the strong side too.

Fix all those aspects the pals commented and it will be great. Have in mind that excesive post-production may be very bad.

I would add more office supplies on the desk, but it's just my personal taste.

I actually think the chromatic aberation adds alot to the 80's feel of the scene

Asher was right it does have a feel similar to my Comic Shop Scene. This looks great so far. I love the larger aspect ratio it helps with setting things more cinematic. Though I agree with everyone the Depth of Field is too deep you should make it more shallow especially the blurring closer to the camera. The Aberration is too strong as well as is the noise. Dial back those two aspects and it will help a lot!

Wow thank you ever so much guys for the feedback, been hugely helpful! Hopefully made some decent progress, I've tried to tone everything down a bit especially with the Post-Processing, also began adding in more detailed props, the IBM Machine is still super work in progress at the mo but hopefully it's on the right track! I plan on adding in the Desk Drawers with more supplies hanging out of them, changing up some things on the shelves, adding in some lights above the pictures as well as general clutter!

Oh ya, this is really starting to fill in now. Would it make sense to have a CRT TV somewhere to play those VHS tapes on?

Should there be more shadows in the room? It seems like there is heavy use of AO but not a ton of actual shadows other than directly in front of the window.

Apologies for the lack of updates, been massively busy with life stuff, but I'm hoping to finally finish this one up fairly soon! Definitely felt like I've bit off a bit more than I can chew with this, kind of been overwhelmed with the amount of stuff needed to do, any feedback would be hugely helpful, I'm a bit lost on where to take this to really make it pop!

I've added a Television for all the tapes, played around with the lighting a tad, still not happy with it though I might have a crack at using Clint's setup he used in his Saigon Office scene to try and bring those shadows out: https://polycount.com/discussion/comment/2275099/#Comment_2275099

Looks great dude! very authentic!

I'm not great at lighting myself but I think it would be nice to pick a focal point in your piece and have a nice key light shine on it. Right now in the third picture the contrast is biggest in the windows (blender guru with some explanation about what i mean youtu(dot)be/4_R0TI3AF2M?t=509) Which draws away from your nice assets.
