Blender 2.80 : the last version shrinkwrap worked ?

Got a quick job to do. Either I am not applying the shrinkwrap modifier correctly, or its busted in the release candidate version of Blender. I'd like to use 2.8 so Im wondering if there is a version I can download where the modifier works.

Here it works just fine. Shrinkwrapped a sphere at a cube.

Hey Tiles thanks for the check! Yup does the same for me, but an imported mesh from zBrush does not act the same. Tested it in a couple of versions of blender. There is something wrong with the mesh I think.

I think if the scale is off it messes with shrinkwrap. Select the mesh/meshes and try hitting Ctrl+A -> Apply Scale to zero it out. Otherwise I'm not sure what else would mess with it.

Thanks man. Yeah did that a few times on the mesh but it didnt make any difference. Bloody thing

Could be a geometry problem. Tried the remesher before you export it to Blender?

But what exactly fails? Does it simply nothing? Is there a error message in the console?
