I need help to model these cartoon hair !

Hello guys !
I am currently modelising Sakharine from Tintin, trying to stay as close as possible to the drawing. But I never had to model hair like that. Do you guys have any techniques or tutorials to do this?

Seems the most logical as a place to start but depending on the end output, you might need to retoplogize the model and do some baking in another app.

GMH2 is a great tool to use, it can do cards, geometry and hair. https://thundercloud-studio.com/product/gmh2/
XGen is included in Maya and there are workflows to create geometry hair
