I've been working on this general store for a while and I'm at the last stage of the project, playing with post-processing and lighting angles, trying to get them just right. I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have about the colors and other effects that might help present this even better!

But, awesome work.
- The blood tells a story, but that's a lot of blood. Looks like they slaughtered a goat. I might suggest making it more subtle especially down in dirt/mud and steps. I like the trail from the porch post to the door handle, gives a nice vector. Though it still might be a bit heavy handed on the porch post.
- This texture is driving me crazy
- While I like what you're doing thematically with the muted color palette, I might suggest adding bits of color, perhaps a painted trim on the signs or something. It's a fine line to tread with this palette (would probably want to keep with your blues and golds)... a little saturation and you're really leading the eye to those points. You are using this to effect with the blood and fruit, but I think you could get more out of it. I'd like to see you experiment more with some small portions of localized colors. That said, what you are doing is already working well for this genre. So this is less of a "crit" and more of a hunch that you can squeeze a little more juice out of it.
