Zbrush default or customized?

I am currently relearning Zbrush (effectively starting from scratch) Should I get used to working with the default UI, so that I am able to confidently use the program when I am close to job searching/starting a new job in the industry? I'm not sure if it would be unwise to customize my work-space if I would need to use a work computer that is not modified. (I am thinking way down the line). Thank you.

Customize it ! Some feature takes ages to get without shortcut. Also the .cfg file are only texte so you can email them to you and get em easy on any other computer !

Yeah. Customizing the UI depending on what you're making will make your workflows faster. For my case, I use two sets. One for hard-surface modeling, then another for organic sculpting.

ZBrush lets you easily save, load and reset profiles. I doubt anyone would care about using a custom profile at your workstation.
