Hi everyone, I'm making this new environment.
I worked on this some months ago actually, but I've never gotten to finishing it.

Now I'd like to finish it up. The plan is for a rather simple sci-fi environment, but I'd like to use decals for the details of the building
and test this workflow.

I think it's great work. It seems more like Machinery than buildings, perhaps add some small doorways or other smaller items to show the scale, and give it a sense that those are buildings?

Hey, here's any update.
I added some details and textured the geometry with some trim textures.
What can I say, I'm not Philip Klevestav or Thiago Klafke.

I spent a lot of time stalling when it came to making and applying the decals. I just couldn't find a way for them to work how I imagined.
Either way hope some improvements are visible, still quite a bit to go.

Really nice detail. Keep it up. I would suggest adding some dirt and sand in the cracks though.

Really nice work so far. I'm loving the sense of scale and the composition is really solid. I think overall you could use some cooler colors to balance out the overwhelmingly orange palette, and I think you could use a better balance of shape detail in your organic assets. You have some really nice large forms, but I'd love to see some more medium and small forms littered throughout to give the image a bit more detail. It will also help push the sense of scale.
