I've started work on a couple of props to round out my portfolio.
Iv'e already finished working on the sword, and i'm now texturing the shield.

As for the shield i am in the process of finishing up the texture.
Here are some progress shots.
Just like with the sword i used the hard edges to OpenSubdiv technique.

Using the lowpoly i started with i made a few adjustments and baked it down in Substance Painter.

This is where i'm at now.

I still have a few things to tweak, but overall i think i'm close to finishing it up and will set up the lighting and presentation shots in Marmoset.

Hey @Mime, I'm a big fan of that wood style on the shield and the wraps on the sword are looking fantastic! Textures really look like they're coming along nicely, and I think the splash of yellow paint on the shield really helps the prop pop out further. Great work, man! Can't wait to see the final shots.

Worked some more on the textures and i think i'm gonna call it done. Next i need to do some presentation shots.

Looks real nice. I like the "grungy" feel both of them have, there are few straight edges and lots of dents and scratches. Feels very cobbled together which fits an Orc

I've already said this to you, but those materials read very well - wood especially, looks like you could run your hand along it and would feel very wood-like
