[WIP] Orc Lady

Just started this new project, really wanted to make a sexy strong orc lady who could crush a man's head with her thighs.

She's looking kinda stylised at the moment but I want to go for a more realistic look. Really gotta nail that anatomy!

Done a little bit of tweaking here and there, haven't been working on it an awful lot- still trying to nail the face and overall proportions!

Can't really decide what type of shirt she is wearing that make her breasts look like that.. if it was tight there would probably be less pushup and more push together, if you catch my drift? Other than that, great work I love this design ^^

@Agnes_E totally get what you mean! I honestly haven't given it much thought at this stage, I want to go for something a bit like this I think:

I want it to be push up but still let the boobs have some weight and squishyness to them haha. I'll be working into it soon and getting a better idea of her overall design so the boobs will get some more attention!

A little bit of progress, starting to block in the clothes again, really need to work out exactly what I want things to be because my sketchy paintover is still a bit vague!

looks like a great start man, are you gonna make use of marvelous? i'm asking because i'm curious to know if you prefer to start off in zbrush or just build stuff from scratch in marvelous. Would love to see progression on this project.

@NinjaSocks Thankyou! I'm not sure whether I'll need marvelous except for the loincloth thing- there's not really much drapery so I think it'd be more hassle than its worth!

Some more updates! A slightly more refined block in and more thought out paintover. Really starting to get a feel for her now can't wait to get into sculpting everything!!

. I don't know too much about female anatomy to give any feedback that might actually be helpful to you lol, but this video might help if you have any troubles with the garments

Baynard Wu makes some bad-ass orc ladies, so I don't think you can go wrong with that inspiration. Glad you're back on it, @HazelTheHobbit. Head and musculature are looking great, so it'll be cool to see how the character develops. Good luck moving forward

Think I'm finally happy with her design and ready to start properly making stuff rather than dynameshing blobs together! I've actually gone for little bits of dinosaur scales etc so I'm planning to keep that running throughout the design

Ooooo, I'm glad I ran across this project - she's looking pretty darn badass! I'll be interested to see how you handle all that fur as everyone seems to have a slightly different approach.

It would be lovely to see some additional detail in her face and perhaps hardening up her features somewhat. She still looks great at the moment, but getting some additional distortion around her tusks, some deeper brow lines, and perhaps even bumping up the tusk size a bit might help sell her "orc-ness" more effectively.

Good progress so far! There are some anatomical points that still look too stylized IMO, the clavicle/jugular notch area in particular. Also the abs; the concepts you've posted that you're sculpting from all still have a softness to them that your sculpt seems to be missing. She can still be muscular without needing exaggerated definition.

She's looking great Hazel,

My only critique would be to consider (subtly) bulking up her shoulders/arms if you're considering having her more of a warrior-type. She feels more like a runner to me right now.

Keep up the good work, I'm excited to see where you take her!
