Hello!

I want to show you my first gun model which is a part of new serie of weapons I'll create soon.
My idea is to create 15+ weapons with possibility of spreading each part and with modular rails. In this way, all the accessories that will appear in subsequent models can be easily adapted to any of the weapon in this serie.

Second stage is game ready model with textures.

I would be grateful if you would give me some advices before texturing!

Hold my beer and watch! :# Ok now seriously, yes it is possible, but I want to create something big first time in my career, and yes I agree with you. Quality not quantity! I have to think about that. Thank you!

If you are just wanting to practice, develop your skills, try things out, review things you've learned, I think going to a higher quantity of assets is the best way. Don't worry if they turn out perfect, the idea is just to get as much experience under your belt as possible. I mostly do characters, but when I first started, and was still in the stage of learning how to use the software and basic workflow methods, I thought I would get ahead of the pack by working on 2-4 week masterpieces. They were alright, I suppose, but nothing I'd put on the refrigerator. It wasn't until I started banging out characters in just a few days at a time that I started improving at a rapid pace. Instead of trying to make something impressive, I just focused on trying as many different ideas out as I could and keeping the ball rolling at a constant speed. Now, just a few months later, I can make characters as good in quality in two days as I was taking 3 weeks to make before. The thing is, I've become so much more comfortable working with the software that my mind is mostly free to focus on the art now.

Anyway, if you are past that initial learning stage and you want to focus on demonstrating your total knowledge and artistic skill where it is right now, I'd plan to spend 2-4 weeks perfecting a single asset. Not sure abouut that timeline exactly as I'm not much of a weapons guy, but you might find some weapon guru's here and find out how much time they typically spend per asset. Ideally you'd be able to make an asset that is as good as any AAA model in the same genre and do so in a typical production timeframe.

More specifically about your models, I think they look pretty cool. There is some design choices that don't make perfect sense to me, but my specific taste is generally in favor of realism, so unless that's your goal I won't harp on that. If your goal is to be a weapons specialist, it would definitely pay to be a serious gun nut. Just like character artist need to know anatomy, I think a weapons specialist ought to be able to field strip the most common modern weapons and tell you all the parts names and and functions.

I think the idea of a modular weapon system is really neat, but from a game development perspective, why would you want a series of weapons that all look the same-ish? I mean, IRL a modular weapon system totally makes sense, but I think in games, in general, you typically want distinction and variety.

JoshuaG and BIGTIMEMASTER thank you guys for all advices, I have to read all of this few times and think about it. I know that my models are not perfect and that's why I am asking for your help. My idea was to create this big project for few reasons. I want to develop my skills, I belive that I have a lot to do if I want to be better than now. One of my dreams is my own outsource studio, but  I don't have any experiance with that. This project is something like...experiment for me. I need to get know myself. What really I can do, how good I am, how fast, what people want, what is good price for my work, etc. I have a lot questions and I need much more answers. All guns will be on stores like cgtrader or cubrebush. It gives few answers. That's the reason why I want to implement modular weapon system, it could be great thing for potential buyers. However, two days ago I thought that my idea is clear for me but now I have to think about your advices
