Lifestealer Skullring

Ok, so I've been working on a sculpture entry for two months ( http://polycount.com/discussion/198432/my-entry-undying-and-lifestealer-scene#latest ) which I sculpted from scratch, and I am reusing part of it to make this skull ring using the head of the Lifestealer model I made, which I think would make an awesome skull ring. So far I've just cuut off the head and made a template for the ring band size:

I will make it to be printed in some metal as long as the cost is within the 250$ limit (?) we now have been granted (as it seems....), we'll see what gives...

Yet to decide what to do with this tongue I have made for him (use as band or put in mouth and make band of something else).

Ok so here's the ring pretty much done. I made the band by taking the tongue and a ringband template into Blender and creating a curve from the template and applying modifiers to the tongue to deform it along the curve I came up with this funky ringband you see here and which I think looks cool

So besides using the tongue to make the band I am also putting a copy of it in his mouth, which should appeal to a bunch of death metal fans who might love a skullring like this

I also made a base out of a cilinder I scaled down and then squashed on the sides to unite the band and the head. I also decorated it using radial symmetry and surface noise with a marble pattern. Now to upload it to shapeways and see in what materials it's under 250$
