Alchemy.. Simply mixing two different materials, create a realistic one. For example, Mix H2O with Co2 and you'll get bubbly water texture. That's what i think
Apparently it has nothing to do with the animations and the cool simulations in the teaser. They're there for looks. From what I was able to gather, Alchemy is going to be a different method of handling material creation and application within the Substance suite. One that uses some sort of AI driven system to analyze and create materials. Think deep learning meets Designer maybe.

That's the part that worries me. Allegorithmic has been pretty good so far with their no-BS approach to tools and marketing. Seing them go all Quixel-like with a barely relevant and cryptic "teaser" is not sending a great signal imho.
