Bike low poly issue help please !!!

guys I've made a low poly bike for a VR project, but I'd like to know something, the polycount of the bike is 2,573 polygons, is that good or too high for a single bike?

Hassan: The triangle/vertice count of an object completely depends on the game or a scene within the game. For example, if this was a bike repair game and you focused only on the bike, having the bike be 100,000 triangles would not be out of the question. However, if this is an open world game with hundreds of objects/bikes on screen, then keep the triangles below 10,000 could be an option.
In general I would just make a good asset. For most modern hardware, the triangle count for this bike could be doubled/tripled/quadrupled with almost no performance impact across many game types.
If you really needed to cut things down, you can make lower LOD versions. Pedals become rectangles, all tubing becomes 4 or 6 sided, maybe take out some or all spokes, etc.
There was an article floating around here somewhere. Called "dense foliage in VR" I think. Had some good general rules of thumb regarding VR specifically.
