Hi, I am starting a new project - Wood Road - based on photogrammetry technique. First raw tests of 3d scanned road and some oak leaves. Road is 680 triangles with albedo and normal map, leaves are on a single plane with albedo and normla map.
I am using Reality Capture - mostly for personal projects. At work I am using Agisoft Photoscan. Advantages of Reality Capture is speed - align, dense cloud, mesh and texture - this software is damn fast - in my opinion - the fastest photogrammetry software on the market which gives you good results. But you need more attention while makeing photos. Agisoft Photoscan is a very good software and it will align things that Reality Captur didn't. When we talk about a price - Agisoft is cheaper than RC. I use RC subscription from Steam - you can subscribe for a month time - you can't do this on their main site. You can try 3dFlow - very powerfull photogrammetry software - but the slowest of them three. They have free non commercial version with some limitation. https://www.3dflow.net/3df-zephyr-free/
