NURBS Car Models for purchase?

Hi all,

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to point me to where I'd be able to buy a nice NURBS car model that is easy to tessellate, please?

Failing that a game ready car with LOD's ranging between 1M triangles down to 10K, if possible? (I'd also need a normal map for each LOD to be baked from the high LOD version)

I've been looking on Turbosquid but the cars on there look like they would be fairly hard to optimise.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe car's normally use a baked normal map, atleast not in the traditional flavor, they are applied more like decals and the overall shape is defined using only polygons and controlling vertex normals. That will save a ton of memory and allow higher quality textures at the same time. So you don't need a highpoly, just an optimized midpoly, LOD's and then the appropriate normal map 'decals'.
