Had a blast learning from the paintings of Simon Stalenhag, he has such an amazing talent for making lean no nonsense strong narrative paintings. For these I am just setting up models I've made in unreal engine 4 and painting over them in photoshop.
Can you give us any insight in the complex UE4 materials with the moving elements and flow maps or how you create the abstract shapes in your environments?

Hardest part of this is the translucent material plane sorting, also using POM effects and flow map effects for the movement.
