I'm calling this done! I was going to place the outline of the victim by the counter like my concept, but I couldn't see that working out. I was also planning to maybe put police tape by the door or maybe evidence markers around the outline of the victim then I did some research and I could be wrong but those were not in use during the 1950's.

I came across this sketch from Isaac Orloff, I decided it would be fun to model and texture. I did a rough paint over and went with this color scheme.

Oh man, loved the style you put on your 50's scene.

Coincidentally I'm working right now on a project with a similar atmosphere, hope to finish it soon to show you.

Re: The diner scene - I think the 'coffee' picture/advertisement is too low resolution/blurry compared to the rest of the textures.

The Taco and Ice Cream vans are fantastic!

Update!
I'm still working on it. There's couple of issues I came across that I'm trying to fix and other arrangements. Thanks everyone for your comments I might go back and make those tweaks on the 50's diner.
