Halo AR / GoW Lancer Mashup WIP

Hey polycount! First project I'm posting here. I've been working on a mashup between the Halo Assault Rifle and Gears of War Lancer. Not quite done with the modeling, still lacking some detail, but I think it's at a good stage. Posting around and getting feedback, so C&C welcome!

What? So you can shot and slice enemies in half at the same time?

I really like the concept. It reminded me of the ripper from Dead Space. Can't say why... maybe because of the giant chainsaw hehe

The only thing i can say you can improve, if it is your interest to bake a normal map from the high poly, is that some of the edges are too tight, "sharp", in a way that it will be barely noticed any normal map smoothing if the object is too distant to the viewer.

Update. Pretty much done with high poly. Now for retop and texturing.

These are fantastic textures. I especially love the wood with gold accents. Beautiful mashup!

used 4k textures for these renders. Had to downsize them for the marmoset viewer files though.

can you resale your AR Lancer all the skin cause i'm buying them, also think you can do the hammerburst rifle and DMR in the mix?
