Are there any good resources to help me model the mechanical aspects of vehicles and guns?

Hey, I've been attempting to model firearms and vehicles for a mod I'm working on for Halo: Custom Edition, and most of my models are a bit lacking in my opinion. I think what would help me is knowing how such objects function, at least on a mechanical level, so I can keep that in mind as I model, anyone know any good resources for learning how these work?

Hey Shadow. The best way to find reference still is Google images. In terms of how things work and the terminology involved in your search (using the correct term is very important) i usually go to wikipedia. But to help you out, i gathered some sites/videos that i usually go when i need to find inspiration and stuff related to firearms. Here i list some of them:
