Hi,
So the light doesn't interact with the height map for me when using parallax occlusion or tesselation. Should it or is this normal?
I'm new to substance designer and I haven't really worked with height maps so I'm not sure how it's supposed to work.
In this picture you can see that I have height enabled but the light doesn't interact with it.

However, if I output the base material node to the 3d view it does.

But only if I have normal set to false.

If I set normal to true the light won't interact with the height.

Is it supposed to be like this or am I having problems?
Thanks

When you set Normal to true in the base material, it expects you to plug your own normal in the filter instead of generating it from the heightmap.
