New to substance ( painter, designer, B2M) Critiques wanted and welcomed!

So as my title says, Im really REALLY new to the the programs and Im watching every tutorial allegorithmic as posted and so far Im enjoying it! This is my first attempt in using designer following the rust and metal tutorial they posted on youtube and tweaked the workflow to fit the need in created this mossy rock texture I want to use for my model. Im looking for any tips and critiques on this

Good first shot. You probably want a height output and to turn on tesselation in your viewport. That always sells ground textures for me.

@allengingrich yea there's a height node in the tree maybe I should tweak it a bit more haha thanks tho!

Hi,
it's a good start, but i don't understand your rocks passe ; however great materials for your moss !

Have you many rocks/mossy rock reference ? You can separate your material, 1 graph for your mossy, 1 for your rock, and 1 to combine all materials.

@stilobique actually I discovered that was a possible in designer! i will remake it and use that method thanks for the tip tho!
