Sketchbook: root

I've been an on-again-off-again lurker on Polycount for years but I never started a sketchbook thread. I'm in the process of learning Zbrush for sculpting, here's a thing I did this week, after figuring out how to use the trim and polish brushes. I'm having a tough time getting nice crisp transitions where the planar junctions are convex, like at the intersection of the muzzle and zygomatic arch/below the cheek. I'll probably do a bunch more of these.

Another one! Not super thrilled with how mushy my planar surfaces still wind up being but there's probably some witchcraft involving stencils and lazymouse that I need to figure out.
