Does anyone know how to create a cloud like this with Maya fluids?

Found a ton of tutorials how to do perlin opacity on the fluid container, but it doesn't give you clean results such as this.

If you are not limited to Maya only, you could try Houdini CloudFX:

Houdini seems to be making a bit of a debut eh! Flowmaps and now this... darn I wish my wallet wasn't so skinny

Hi, thanks for the reply, guys. I just found out, that you can emit cloud particles from mesh. So what I did, was a lot of spheres, combined them into single mesh and then used fluid container on this. Worked perfectly.

Tetranome, CloudFX is old. Like 3 Houdini editions old.

BTW: Fix link in your signature. Name is good, but link points to some non existing Polycount page.

Hey, a bit behind but I'm currently working on a project and I'd like to render out some particles for fog. Do you think you could post a little breakdown of what you did and the results you got? Or maybe if you have a tutorial link!

No problem, here you go. That's the tutorial I used in the end. Pretty nice results. Just don't forget to animate texture time and you should be set. Take a look at the settings too. There's a lot.
