Edge Streaks on Polys?

Hi guys, so I'm coming across this problem quite a lot recently I've created my low poly mesh (it can be optimised I'm aware I was just trying to keep to quads). However, I get these strange shading errors across my mesh where edges are located along a flat Poly (See Images).

This then obviously becomes even more ugly once i smooth for the high poly. What is going on here and how do i fix it?

Well the problem is that its not flat. select that whole set of faces and make them planar.

I figured, problem is im trying to attach those two holes to remove ngons whilst maintaining that angled part of the wall, i guess this was more of a "how to" topology question than anything, regardless to the fact im still curious how to achieve this effect without building in zbrush and going through retopo

well one fix for this is make the faces the holes are planar. and to get that angle back select the verts that needs to be at an angle and put a lattice on it. Its been a while since I have used maya (im assuming thats what you are using based on the ui), so there may be a better way to do this .
