World Building Software Suggestion

I've been interesting in creating a large scale environment using a world building software, but I'm not sure which software is more recommended or some of the pros/cons of them. I've heard of a software that is literally called World Builder, but when I searched them up I wasn't sure how legit the website was and how old/new it actually was. So along with any recommendations, links to their websites would be much appreciated.

World machine is really really solid and it's free ( and easy ! )

That's the one I've seen before. World Machine was shown to me a few years ago by some colleagues. I'll definitely take a look at that one.

Yes, World Machine is a great option, plus there are some great free learning resources on YT.

Are you building it for game use? Or for rendering only? Which 3d software are you using?

They each do things differently, and game engines have particular workflows for the best results. Very different from pure rendering.

In most cases, I'd bring the terrain I've made into a game engine like UE4.
