  Please try these steps:
  
  Close Photoshop and the SUITE
  Right-click on Photoshop, select Run as Administrator
  Close Photoshop
  Run Quixel SUITE
  Try creating a project again.

  What I would do in your case is a clean install of Photoshop and Quixel SUITE. Uninstall both programs, and then install them again. That should clear this issue up.
