Epic Games has released the latest version of UDK for October 2011.

This month's update includes new features such as god ray and shadows support on iOS, as well various additions to the landscape and foliage system. And as always, there are many smaller improvements to resolves bugs and increase overall performance.

can it preview animations properly yet?
seen 3 people (incl. me) with the same problem with anims being authored correctly, working in the editor and matinee but not ingame.. taking a piss much?

I just wish switching projects over was a bit simpler. Sometimes you have to manually edit files to get them looking right again. Good news though.
