How do I model this object? (Tie Fighter window)

  Not particularly difficult probably more of a breakdown exercise. However many references will be required. I would use curves over polygon for the windows.

  Kind of looks like the faces of a sphere with 16 sides, doesn't it? Maybe start with that and an extrusion with keep faces together=off?
