I am currently setting up my portfolio and just wanted to get a rough idea of the content and layout that other people have used for theirs.
So it would be appreciated if anyone could comment and link theirs. whether your a pro or an amateur it all helps.

needs a lot of updating but the format is what i want.
I should get some more stuff in there and maybe change to a two collum layout, made from scratch which is why it is so bare bones layout wise :P

I try to live by the KISS.
recently I tend to link artstation though.
I also tend to put stuff on my Artstation a lot. It's in my signature.
I wanted a super clean website layout. No iframes or any of that crap, simple simple navigation with large images as the focus of the design.
I try to keep my images under 500kb and used minimal code for super quick load times since everyone is impatient.
On a side note, I really wish there was a wordpress or some theme like mine cause manually updating can be a bit tedious.
Pretty basic for layout
Pretty basic. Banners for each "project". And when you click the project, it brings you to a page of big images.
I'm experimenting now, though, with another layout which may not be the most traditional, but I love how clean it looks. Each individual prop will be an icon, which you can click. It brings you to a page with all the images for that prop. Then you'll be able to use your arrow keys or click on arrows to cycle through all my work. Still making some decisions, but the basic layout design is here:

I wanted it simple with big pictures.
Made it mobile friendly by giving it an adaptive layout. I like having one page and large images since it's easier to maintain, along with links jumping you to a particular section you might be interested in.
Ridiculous amount of academic work, over a whole year non stop. Also after reading an informant post of Haz about the life and choices it made me think. A bit deep philosophical stuff you see. Soul searching maybe ?
