Hey everyone, I'm a professional software developer that has spent the last 10 years of his life doing indie game development as a side-job/hobby. I can also draw and paint.
While I understand most the technical side of the 3D content pipeline, I'm still learning when/how to use different tools, so hopefully I don't embarrass myself too much. Hopefully I can get some artistic insights from everyone here, and share my technical knowledge. Here's hoping!
Hello! I'm a beginer in 3D modelling, but really want to improve that skill, also i have some expirience in 2D painting (illustrations, sketches and etc). I glad to join the forum

Hi, I am a veteran 3D Artist, who has been living on the fringes of this industry for many years, due to my being Autistic. This is my last drive at creating projects for my portfolio, which may or may not land me that dream client.
Take care guys. I look forward to being part of the community.
Hello, just decided to sign up and look for so many great things to get & share wtih others in this great forum. Thanks Polycount for let us get this cool forum.
Guess it's my turn. I'm Paul L. Ming... "PLM"... sometimes vocalized as "Plum". I decided to go with "pming" on this forum because I use it on ZBrush forums, as well as others (CGTalk, Lightwave, etc).
Short version: Long time 3d... only 'pro' for a couple years back in '98, '99. School to get better (VFS and CDIS in Vancouver). Life happened like a run-away freight train. Keept diddling around with 3d. Autodesk kept buying up all my fave programs (I'm still sore about the whole Softimage thing!), so I've been using others (Lightwave, Hexagon, ZBrush, MODO Indie, Silo, even Carrara) to see what "clicks" with me.
Due to getting hit by the life-train comming the other way on the other track, I've found myself unemployed, diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (that's what my Dr is going with for now), and sitting at home... I figured I'd get back to upgrading/updating my 3D skills to get ready to jump into the "make money freelancing with 3D" ring (last time I got paid to do 2D/3D I was working for a company).
So, uh, yeah. That's me.
PS: Mid-40's, married, 1 daughter of very soon to be 6 years of age, no pets, living in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada.
My name is Rian, and I am currently a student at the DAVE School in Orlando FL. I am looking forward to being added to the PC community, and getting an opportunity to showcase my work as I continue to develop it throughout my education (and eventually my occupation).
Hello everybody! I'm graduating from a game art course and I've started learning C# to create games. Hope I get some feedback to improve my art here, and meet awesome people to unite strengths and make games
Hey there Polycount users as you can see I am not an artist, but I do love looking at other peoples work. I have very bad handwriting and was wondering if there are any artists out there who had this problem before and how you changed.
