Victorian Doctor Character WIP

For my final project assignment I have decided to create my own character and model it in 3D. His name is Dr.Smith. He treats patients in exchange of organ "donations".

This is some concept exploration that I have done to developp the character.
I choose 5 out of all the silhouettes that I did. Then picked the 2nd from left one.

Loving the design of this character so far, The sleeve wrinkles on the jacket feel a bit strange what materials is it made from? but its coming along really nice.

Wows, he looks like a twin of Dr.Smith! If i knew about him earlier it woulda saved me a lot of trouble during sculpting!

It is suppose to be made of wool but my reference photo it was a little bit different and baggy, think that caused me to sculpt weird folds

A little bit of back story on this character: every time i try to design a character, I want it to have its own story in it. For Dr.Smith I've though about how he should have 2 sides to him, the front and the back. From the front I wanted him to be just a smart looking doctor, nothing too evil. However when we turn to the back there is a hand crawling out of his bag and blood all over his coat. It means people have more than one side.

heres more angles of the high poly, I got to work on the bag a little bit more.

Started the texture, i think the hand is maybe not bloody or gross enough, so is the bag.

I think slosh asked very briefly that "Have you used Marvelous Designer software to simulate some of the clothes for your character, or have you sculpted all the wrinkles and folds by hand?". (;

OH, in fact i wanted to use some kind of software to stimulate the clothing, but since i didnt know how to, i took a bunch of reference photos instead. So yes, i sculpted all by hand :poly142:
I will look into that software though thanks for mentioning.

I really like the colour scheme, and direction you're pushing for, its coming off really well, I do think like you said, the bag and hand could be more bloody (maybe to emphasis his darker inner personality?) Your works looking bloody awesome though (no, the pun was unintended xD)
