These are my initial source images and concept (bottom right). The concept comes from reading the Blizzard Art Book. I think it is quite appealling and so chose to model it.
A little update! Been trying to nail his anatomy the way I want it. I'm working generally on the model and feel like now he is beginning to get a little character
Modelled in Maya, sculpted and polypainted in ZBrush and rendered in Marmoset. I will however be building the environment in UDK 4

A little update on the gravedigger character. Finding it a challenge to render the hair in a stylised fashion....for now
