Hi,
if you were wondering what happens inside a GPU, then I have one more source of confusion ;)

Been helping SimonT for a future revision of his lovely http://simonschreibt.de/gat/renderhell/
and as result wrote a bit more in-depth article on how the data- and workflow for rasterization is inside a GPU, and created a "compressed details" image. I suggest checking the renderhell books first, if you are not familiar with how rasterization works at all, as my article is much more low-level.

The illustrations are mostly compositions of published works, hence the pixel looting and crazy colors ;) I hope some of the details may be interesting information to you.
