Hello all, I'm new to Polycount and am currently taking classes with the intent to land a job in the next two years. I'll likely be posting WIP here! thanks!
Hello there,
I'm Adrian, 23 years old. I'm currently working as Graphic Designer focused on branding, printing and web design.
I'd like to put my skills on higher level, so I decided to learn 3D. That would be the best thing that I could dream about. In my opinion 3D design brings no limit to your ideas and imagination.
I'm specially focusing on Zbrush + Maya.
In June I've done my first character in Zbrush (Fatboy - pic on the bottom)
Model was made 100% in Zbrush, Postproduction in Photoshop.
I'm very happy with the final effect, but character is not yet finished as i would like to, it has a little mistakes like no ears, some anatomy problems.
I decided to register to this community to learn from you guys, and ask a tons of questions about the process modeling, lighting, rendering, shading!
Hello, My names Mario, i'm a soon to be graduate from my third year of 3D. I'm super excited to finally get out into the work force. Till then id like to submit some of my work on here to receive critiques to heighten my skills and get constructive criticism. Thank everyone!
Hi everyone. I'm currently a student digital arts & entertainment (game design, 3D, concept art, etc...) I thought i'd join up after occasionally visiting the forums. Lot's of interesting stuff, and a great community to ask feedback from. I hope to improve a lot, and also hope to help others improve! I'm always happy to give feedback, so if you have any questions please DO ask. This is what I'm working on right now:
Not new, but been a while since I last posted..Left here on a bad note after taking some crit the wrong way. Fast forward 8 months, and a couple states over (And after a much-needed reality/ego check) and I believe i'm ready to come back and listen to people now.
I promise I wont blow up on anyone again :P
I'm a spanish architect and photographer with a strong interest in game design, but specially oriented to 3d modelling and environment design. I have some experience (4-5 years) modelling for architecture projects, mainly using Rhinoceros, and I feel that it would be interesting to redirect this knowledge towards game industry. Learn what is important and specialize all the brute knwoledge I may have into something useful and productive. This forum looks to me like a fantastic resource and I would be glad to be part of it.
