I'm Jake from Hypercane Studios, i'm a self taught artist with 2 years under his belt. As myself, and my team move forward with our next game ill be looking for critique on my work. Little about my self. I got into game development with my brother 2 years ago, until then I didn't know I had a passion for art, long story short, its all I think about, I still suck at it, but I guess what artist actually likes his own art. I work full time in the game industry along side my brother, and my goal is to get better everyday. We have one game on steam, that does decent enough. My main goal being here is to show my work, and get opinions on it to progress my art style further for games. Hello all out there. My name is Joshua and I am a 2D/3D budding artist, and musician. I just love the arts and push forward to having a career full of it all. I'm almost done with school, which needs to hurry up. I love the networking, friendships, and work that others post on here, so I finally decided to jump on the bandwagon.
Been frequenting Polycount for some time and last half year more heavily.
I was going to sing up and then the Riot contest came along.
I've got sketches en wips ready to post and begin working on the model.
I am an autodidact maya user and in my area is no real person to ask anything about 3d....
For any reason I don`t know I see a MEL when I start my latest project, saying the following:
Warning: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2015/scripts/others/hyperShadePanel.mel line 6862: The currently active tab is not a scene tab. This icon size change operation is not implemented for this tab. //
I have no idea how I got that, what it means, and lastly, what it does. Hopefully somebody can tell me (understandable...) how I can get around this issue. There is no problem in continuing modeling etc., but when I try to render in any other size than the default I am getting no results (I mean, rendering lasts so long that there must be something wrong and I can`t find out, what it is). The content "icon size"- maybe its referring to a plugin- installation of SOuP, which I did yesterday, but maybe it is just my speculation...
At least I`d like to know if this error has to do with my render problem and how I could get around;Sorry for this "book-long" posting, I just have tried to be as precise as possible...

Do a get a notification when the mod teams fully activate my account?
