Finally finished this axe from an old noob challenge. This is the first hand painted texture I have ever done and couldn't really find any tutorials so just had a crack at it. Feedback will be greatly appreciated so I can improve my skills and put it in my feedback journal for my uni assessment :)

    It's pretty hard to see what's going on against the black background. Could you render out a new image against something more neutral (and also potentially more zoomed-in on the axe itself)? In the future, it would also be good if you uploaded your images to somewhere external (imgur, usually) and just embedded in the comment.

    Looks generally good, though!

    Don't know much about imgur or anything but I rendered again using the marmoset default background colour. Hopefully this looks a bit better.

    It makes image viewing on this forum easier.

    IMGUR Tutorial:
    1) Go to imgur.com
    2) Make an imgur account
    3) Click "Images" in upper right corner.
    4) Drag and drop and image you want to upload into the screen of imgur.
    5) Copy and Paste BBC code of the image.
    >> Paste BBC code into reply / thread post, and voila, thumbnailable image!
