CryEngine Normalmap Problem

Hey Guys,

i have some strange problems with my normalmaps in the cry engine.
The normal map seems to change the lighting in the wrong way.
The +x-y+z is set.
Any advices?

You can probably try checking/changing the specular map or alphas in the maps. Not sure. Hope that helps

hey,

it does make no difference with or without a specmap. And there are no alpha in the normal map.

Are you sure your Green channel is flipped? How did you create your normal? Any chance your normal was made inverted and by inverting the Green channel, you flipped it back?
