i have some strange problems with my normalmaps in the cry engine.
The normal map seems to change the lighting in the wrong way.
The +x-y+z is set.
Any advices?
Are you sure your Green channel is flipped? How did you create your normal? Any chance your normal was made inverted and by inverting the Green channel, you flipped it back?

it does make no difference with or without a specmap. And there are no alpha in the normal map.
