Hail to all the smiths around,
As I saw the fog of all the fire up in the air, I found lots of smiths gathered in this valley and forging steel for lots of brand new brutal Weaponry for the fight going on in the war halls and castles of Chivalry!
Well I could not stop myself from running toward you guys, Well here I am, Although I got late, but I try me best to catch up with you guys!
Tones of nice models are maid till now.
As I was on my way I found Man at arms with Broadsword is good to go.
I will keep hard to stay with silhouette, but lets see what it will be at the end.

well I think this will be my ref sheet, Lets do some doodles , and I have to prepare a ref sheet for the Broadsword, the weapon I will make in this set.

So I did some doodles, my main design will be following g such shapes, rounded, faded into each other, twirls and ..., well , I think due to lack of time, I have to jump into 3D ASAP.

well started sketching inside ZB with dynamesh, any idea? keep some form, remove some? C&C are most welcome as it may clear the sky for me and makes ease of desicion making upon design, huge nice art works have been done, hope i get to finish line with you guys

Middle one is definetely the right choice, with more protection. Others looked a bit too much like venetian masks. Great progress so far! Maybe try somethin else for the side ornament, making the cheek armor seem to extend more into the upper half for example.

@audi100: thanks dude, very nice comment, yes, I will have to go for a better side ornament, and I think I myself likes the middle one more, about the chick armors I will do some tests and send, thanks fro dropping by man.
So here I did a fast retopo of the helmet , bring back to Max, cleaned and separated parts, and I think some how ready for ZB to start sculpting on those part.

This is cool, I missed your thread. I like how you turned those guard pieces that line the face into jaws. Everything seems to be flowing pretty nicely too. Nice work, yeah I would finish anyway and post for the community. gw

9thKnight : well, I do agree, I have also did corrected the back to mimic the front to get that feeling, but with bigger shapes just to make the balance with the back details. hope you like it too

), I am turning to a fan of this game, amazing I would say, ha ha, and glad you have great eyes for the flow, I feel I have missed lots of parts according to that, but any way, I think it's time to add final; touches and I am done with all the forms and details.

Guys here are some updates: I had some problems with some forms and I went for the fix. Also add more detail, I think I have to make some time erosion and scratches, that reminds everyone of all the fights in the wars it had,

As for the color of your helmet: I quite like this bronze look! Maybe I would make it a little bit lighter, but that is just my personal opinion! Good work so far !

TheMightyKnight: Very nice super cool Tut man, I liked it too much, and I think next time I will surly use the normal edge manipulation the guy says, thanks to him and to you for sharing buddy, cheers. and about the bronze , yes I will go for it absolutely, same idea, may be some parts to keep silver look, I mean more bare metal to mix things up a little. what you think? I think that color map I will have will help us clearly make it doable.

well I did actually put some details in ZB just to have some thing in normal map,
and exported a color version if I need to select parts for texturing, also a base polypaint to start off of it later when Lowpoly was done.
well I did played with some more materials inside AB just to see what variations will look like. But I agree TheMightyKnight, bronze is the best one, hope you like

I prefer the 6th one of the last image! Make it more shiny and a lighter color, add a good specular map, and it should be perfect! Good work!
