Question about collapsing two or more HP objects into one single mesh

Is there a way to combine a few highpoly models (rocks in my case) into a single one, that means deleting the objects that are inside eachother and welding the vertexes together. As they are pretty highpoly doing it by hand is not an option.

You could pull them into ZBrush and dynamesh them together.

Hmm, i dont have zbrush right now. I would have take a trip to the bay for a brief moment. Any other options?

3d-coat 30 day trial. Voxel are superior to dynamesh, and you will be able to remesh, UV and texture your new merged rock in one application.

If you don't want to do that there is always booleans in whatever app you prefer.

A boolean union operation should merge the objects and remove interior faces. Also, apparently the forum dictionary doesn't know the word 'boolean'.

Kind of aware of that, thats why i tried to be as discrete as possible haha. Too bad Zbrush does not have a trial..
