Can't upscale mesh past a certain value in 3DS Max

Anybody know what the maximum size of a mesh is inside 3DS Max? I'm using the 64-bit 2015 version, and trying to make a 1:1 scale sphere of Earth's size, for later use in a game engine.

It might be down-scaled later, but we're working on a realistic simulation game so it needs to be as accurate as possible. I'm having trouble getting the outer-most vertices past around 2500 Km, after that 3DS Max just says "nope" and clamps it there.

Any ideas why that is? Or if I can scale it up some other way?

Just tried to put kilometers in Units setup and I could get to silly number like 4200+ km. I think it depends solely on the units you're using. Also you could change the scale on the export in FBX settings. Hope it helps.
