Help Normal map issue

hey guys,

i need help regarding the normal map. I am using xnormal, swizle adjusted to 3ds, exports in -.obj format. Manualy created cage, tangent space. Everything i can remember according to guides and this is what i get. Any idea ?

In xNormal -> Baking options -> normal map options ( the "..." button). Make sure tangent space is checked.

Thx for your effort, check what i wrote up there. Tangent space. I checked if this is the issue allready. Second guess ?

i'm pretty sure that your model normals are inverted ,mostly if you use maya and you duplicate special with -1.

3ds can have a tendency to completely screw up normals and not show it in max.

Export your obj from Max, reimport into max. add edit normals modifier and see if they are correct.
If not make a box, edit poly> attach your obj to it, then delete the box. That should reset the normals.

Lol i remember unifing normals with my meshes, everything looking fine. I follow Badcog advice and reimport, every normal looking oposite direction. Just facepalmed myself, problem solved.
