Hello! From what I've seen so far, this looks like a really cool forum, one I hope to someday contribute to in some fashion, be it in showing some of my work, or perhaps just asking some (hopefully) useful questions for myself and the community at large. Cheers, all.
Hello everyone. I am new to Polycount and this is my first post. I have a Masters degree in Games Art and I am looking for a career in the games industry. I am excited about joining this community and I look forward to displaying my work in the website. Cheers.
Hi there, Polycount forum. My immediate reason for being here is to participate in the UTMC design contest/funtime, and I'm looking forward to getting right on that.
Hi, I am a College student in Graphic design and I am fascinated by 3D rendering. Right now my main use program is #ds max but I have laos used Maya and am familiar with Blender. I am always wanting to learn and I am real good at research, so if any one needs any of that type of thing done, feel free to IM me.
Hey everyone. I'm a graphic designer with a focus on motion design. I'm looking to improve my 3d capabilities and would love to work within certain real time environments. Looking forward to chatting with you all.
Hi Everyone, I am new to registering to Polycount, I have actually been browsing the site for years but I guess I never got around to participating I am a Concept Artist and Illustrator, recently graduated from Teeside University with an MA in Concept Art for Games and Animation. I look forward to getting more involved with the community.
Hello Polycounters, I'm lonegreeble, an aspirang 3d artist and concept artist. I'm also into level design as a hobby (having made maps for ut2004, killing floor, cs1.6, cs:s, and csgo). I'm hoping to improve my skills here and converse with some artistic people like myself.
Hello! My name is Rob, Lead Game Designer at Serenity Games!
I'm currently working on two projects and signed up to this website because I actually need help exporting a 3DS Max rock (I start out small :P) to Unity, which is what we're using to create our first game!
I also like checking out other peoples' work on here and have been a 'lurker' for some time!
Greetings! I'm a software engineer by trade, but I majored in computer animation back in college. It's been years since I did anything close to digital art, so this is me trying to get back on the horse as they say
As an ex art student, I know how important feedback is in the process. Looking forward to giving and getting some here!
I'm focused on using open source tools (blender, gimp, krita, mypaint) where possible as I work almost exclusively on linux. As far as game tech goes, I'm currently working with unreal engine (since the tool chain is coming to linux soon I hope) and some custom engine stuff in libgdx.
Hey everyone, I also have my degree in Game Art and am looking for a job in the industry hopefully in the NY area. I unfortunately went on a bit of a hiatus for about a year but I'm back and fully motivated to pursue a job again and am hoping to increase my skills and knowledge from the community! Currently working on a project while I work at my current job and am redoing my website, so hope to have those up soon.
Yo, looking for some moderation approval!
I've been working in 2D mobile device stuff for a while, just looking at breaking into 3D for larger projects, probably mixing blender and unity to make some sort of grotesque free-software nightmare shoggoth. This seemed like a good place to lurk and soak up some know-how.
Thanks, guys!
