First post didn't seem to work so figured I would throw another one there, but regardless I am really excited to get some feedback on my work here. It'll be nice to get some outside input on current and future projects.
Hi all, I enjoy sculpting in zbrush, aspire to become good at creating characters. I've read and found many good information and technical solutions on the polycount forums via google search. Hope to become part of the community.
Hi everyone, I'm a hobbyist game artist hoping to develop my portfolio and transition over to the games industry. Professionally, I work as a User Interface/User Experience designer for a startup in San Francisco. Looking forward to being a part of the Polycount community.
Hey! I'm in my second year of 3 years in Computer Animation.
I want to get in the entertainment industry and model! Characters and Environments and Accessories I think! I think this is a great place for me to get some real-world experience in modeling!
I'm just signing up here because I'm looking to hire a modeller. I do a bit of 3D stuff myself but I'd rather leave that to the experts Plus I wouldn't mind getting feedback/help from here either.
Hello polycount, I'm a long time lurker who decided to finally make an account.
Im about to start making my first game and surely I'll be asking a lot of questions soon.
Glad to meet y'all.
Hello all, I'm a web developer and have decided to build a 3d game with my brother. We're both quite techie, but this is definitely a new challenge for us. Looking forward to picking up some tips.

Greetings Polycount! Man its been years since I've been here. Last time I did much browsing here was when it was a Quake 3 model download site, haha.(I think i was like.. 11-12)
I'm just your average 2D/3D freelance artist. I founded my own 'studio' when I was 15 and have been self employed ever since, producing 3D content for Second Life.
Polycount always hosts the best contests and I've heard from many of my favorite artists that they're a great way to learn new techniques, push your limits, and get noticed by potential recruiters so here I am!
I love all things 3D and I look forward to having my mind thoroughly blown by the sheer amount of amazing content the gaming community creates.
Hi, this is my first post, as instructed. I'm a former storeman who has been out of work for 5 years due to injury and am now looking for a total lifestyle change. I have been looking into 3D modelling as a potential avenue for expression. Hopefully, with the help of others on this forum, I might be able to make a go of this and never have to see the inside of a warehouse again, computer models of warehouses aside...
I'm a programmer and a student with a background in Web Tech and Artificial Intelligence ( Machine Learning ) who is trying to get into game technology.
I am really looking forward to learning more about 3D Art from you guys and hopefully with your support and criticism I will finally be able to get some models finished
I've sold more episodes to "Star Trek" than any other freelance writer in the history of the franchise. I've been called "The Jackie Robinson of Star Trek Writers." All of my episodes aired during "sweeps" and TV guide selected three of them as the best episodes ever written for their characters.
I'm the only writer to have two episodes premier air in the same week ("Star Trek: Voyager" episode "Rise!", and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" episode "Dr. Bashir, I Presume?"). An event that was referred to at Paramount as "Jimmy Diggs Week."
I need a creature creator on spec for a "TOP SECRET" pitch to major network. I'll need to see your work.
My name is Joel, live in Toronto and studied Game Art and Design at Centennial College. I am currently working at Nelvana as a Lighting Artist but i am passionate about modeling and texturing environments. I've been following polycount for about 2 years and thought it was about time i post my own work and replay to the artist who inspire me. This will be an encouragement to get back in the game and finish my past projects and start new ones. I hope to meet new friends who share the same passion and open my mind to new things!
I recently found this forum! Am happy to be joining up. Am quite new to making models for games, saw there are some newbie challenges, so might join one for next month!

We are a small decentralized group of people working on Bain's Redemption. Hope to find some talent on here.
