As far as progress goes, I've finished the normal maps for the weapon, but the other parts are still quite troublesome.
Does anyone know how to make normal maps look good on both lod 0 and lod1? >,<
Also the weapon on QoP doesn't seem to rig properly (it's always rotated at a weird angle)

Agreed. I'd keep the awesome hair and the weapons(maybe change them a little) but lose the demonic chest/shoulders. You could make the skirt work too if it was joined with less demonic other items.
I also thought that it's a bit overboard for ember, but the main idea behind this set is that he is a demon hunter (oni slayer?) and basically seals demons and uses them (or their faces
It found it kind of boring that he's is always depicted as an asian monk (well he technically is... but dota lore is always kind of shallow) and wanted to make him a look a bit different.
I'll try to tune it down later
But yeah, It's probably safer to stick with something that doesn't stray too far from his lore and concept.
If he's an Oni slayer, maybe you could redesign the demon faces on the armour to look more like traditional Japanese onis?
That would let you keep your original idea while sticking to the general Asian theme of Xin
The theme "demon slayer" is pretty awesome, but you really don't need to show any demon or macabre elements to show the theme.

The QoP set is practically finished (if I didn't waste my time on random scripts it would be done already >,<).
Couldn't have done it without your help guys!
So it's 3 wing styles, weapon, shoulders and 2 horn styles.

My only suggestion would be to use a narrower FOV/longer Focal length for the beauty shot, even if that means cropping the composition a fair bit. This is usually preferable for so-called "attractive" portraits, as it gives a look closer to what one sees with their own eyes.

I was actually trying to make it all cinematic with an "intense angle of view". Didn't quite work out.
Well the QoP set was rated at 3-4 stars so I guess I need to try harder :P
I'm remaking the hair as well as adding a new hairstyle.

Well, if anyone is wondering what I've been up to, I'm basically not doing much, being super lazy and enjoying my time before university :poly136:
As for workshop stuffs:
The TB set is almost completely sculpted, I only need some more time with the demon form. Aaaand I have to add some wear and scratches.
I'm also want to make some Silencer weapons
The first two are these (second one is finished, but not posted yet)
And then I drew up some more:
My plan is to make 5-7 of these and ship them out as a set ("Armaments of Silence" or smth like that)
Also ended up making some shurikens in the process
And finally an oldish AM design.
Not sure were I am going with it, really cannot find the right direction. And the right hairstyle.
Crits and comments are very much appreciated. Especially on the Silencer weapons

I already made the base models for 1, 2 and 5, probably gonna change the design on 8 and make it too.

@Spudnik: I suppose it could be, but ember's native armor has a quite similar amount and style of lines. So far if I zoom out it looks quite fine

Tide's texture spaces are fucked up though. 256x256 for belt and head slot and 128x256 for everything else? What are these, textures for ants?
I have the Blinksolator axe almost finished, but the shading is disappointing me very much. Just can't seem to get it right >,<
And in other news, a new concept.
So far I've had it critted down for being too repetitive, on which I can agree, since most of my designs seem to live off repetition. Definitely something to work on...
Not sure that the weapon can fit into 350 tris too

Agito, actually PL is the Wukong of Dota (at least IMO). That's the main reason I thought making a monkey-king set for him would make a lot of sense. I have to agree about the mkb, will try to redesign, giving it another color will probably work well

But I think no need in asymmetry on head and with great set need more great weapon!
The only thing to keep in mind with that PL concept is that there's reason to believe that a monkey king hero might be the next new hero added to Dota what with him being a secret boss in 6.79. If that turns out to be true that set might be rejected for looking too similar.
Basically I have quite a few concepts in progress and collabs on hold but nothing much to post.
But I got several Sets finished with a lot of great people! Yay!
