I am looking for feedback of my last job
It is a custom FPS rifle.
Modeling in Maya, texturing in Substance and "render" in Marmoset.

The Picatinny rails look a bit funny: the bottom of the rail is flat.

And, if we refer to the above picture, stock looks a bit plain. If we had an overall picture of the weapon (lower FOV, minimal angle), we can judge a bit better.

I would strongly revisit the textures, pretty much all the materials read the same at the moment and more than that lack interest.

I would really look hard at for example getting a strong distinction between the metal parts and the rubber parts.

I agree with Tim. i think you should bump up the spec abit more and add some scratches and light dirt marks just to show its been used and makes it more interesting to look at. right now it looks brand new fresh out the box. Work on the texture to show whats metal and whats rubber because its hard to tell. I'm looking at your last reference image to compare it to yours by the way. Other than that everything else looks great. you have a great model just work more into the texture that's all

I believe that other than the textures, the whole model as accuracy issues.

Infact does the model even have normal maps?

Thank you guys.
When I have time. I'll fix the Picatinny rails, I'll increase the polygons in optics and I will increase the materials's difference betwen abs and metal.

Do you know any trick to have a strong difference of materials?
i think fix glossiness map.

The scope's eyepiece feels very polygonal at the moment, and the texture is pixilated there. Keep in mind that it will be quite large in the first person view, especially when aiming, so you really should spend a few extra polys (from the current 20 to at least 24 and probably 32 sides) and some extra texture space. The problems are quite visible in your penultimate image, the HDR room.

I don't know why you'd have a long-range scope and a short range light on the same weapon; they'd seem to be mutually exclusive.
