Well... I've got some progress with my idea so I decided to make a post here

Some secret base specialized in alien studies captured a UFO with alive specimen. Short time later an accident happened at this base (maybe aliens decided to rescue their comrades and sabotaged the base..?)
One of alien containments was broken and the gray prisoner was able to escape. To get out the base he has to roll as a ball very quickly and find an exit.

Time isn't on my side as always... But I'm still trying to finish my idea.

The textures are looking really nice so far, they will give a lot of life to the scene as you continue to fill it up! Looks like it will be fun to play through as well! Good luck!

Looking nice ufo, how are the other rooms coming along? I guess you can repeat some of the textures you have used in this room?

Some small particles might look cool in them, like bubbles or something just something fairly subtle.

Well... I'm stuck with other rooms a bit. I want to complete this one to use wall textures as you said. I drew some variants of wall panelings but wasn't satisfied with result. So I switched to other things.

Yeah, I thought about bubbles. The problem is I don't know the engine at all. I have to setup particle system or something similar to it. But before implementing my scene to the engine I want to finish it or at least to have about it.

Yeah fair enough, on there website they have a few more tutorials that may come of worth, i too dont really know the engine, but fire any questions away i am sure someone will be able to help

I spent a bunch of time trying to capture video of game play but something gone wrong. I always got black screen. I will try to find another free soft and capture it today. But I won't be able to attach it to my post in 'submissions' thread.

Love the style and the textures! Great job on getting it all finished. If i had one criticism it is that it might be hard to tell where to go, i cant tell by the pictures, but maybe if you had light panels on the floor directing the player that would have been good

But as said really love this entry!

I'm ready and open for any comments, critique and so on. I see it by myself - level is messy, it doesn't have good structure and has a lack of details like smoke sparks, blown tubes...

I think your submission turned out really nice! I like how there is a little story leading you through the whole scene, and the textures look great as well.

Yeah, I forgot to concentrate attention on this. The only thing that can give a clue is a phrase "he has to roll as a ball very quickly and find an escape ship" from my description. And I forgot to post it in final submissions thread too...

ahmed, 3d tutorials are a dime a dozen. they are everywhere, try youtube or just google some. then work your way up.
