Hello!
My name is August Loolam,
I am a novice modeler and animator currently majoring in Digital Arts and Animation. Although I am only into my 2nd year of formal classes I have been learning on my own since 2007. I can work in Maya, Softimage, and 3ds Max. I have already done some freelance work and was the Assistant director on Valve Softwares 2013 Saxxy award winning Lil Guardian Pyro Team Fortress 2 short.
I'm a programmer and designer at Longbow Games and we're looking for a 3D artist to fill a temporary vacancy while a senior staff member is on leave. I'll post more in the jobs forum when authorized.
I'm Jonathan from Germany, currently studying MediaMusic in the Netherlands and looking to become a composer for video games. I have however always been facinated by 3d-modeling and video game art is often a great source of inspiration for music.
I can't model at all yet so I am here to hopefully slowly pick up on the tools (I got me Maya 2014 Educational version) and obviously just look in awe at some of the works posted here!
If you want to check out some of my music you are by all means invited to do so here!
I'm really looking forward to be a part of this community!
Hey, I've been checking this community out for some weeks now and finally decided to make a account. I am very new to 3D modeling so I really hope to get some inspiration and maybe also some help from members here.

I am a 3d Artist looking to participate in your community. I have been working in 3d for quite some time and am looking forward to the engaged conversation typical of Polycount. I have been a regular viewer of this site for a long time and figured I should start posting and getting feedback from people who actually know whats up.
I want to get into 3D modeling as a hobby and thought I might as well register a account here. So that when I'm good enough in the future I can take part in the monthly noob challenges.
Decided to make a new account to reflect my new outlook on modeling. Last time I was putting together a college app portfolio, but now I have some real experience under my belt. Gonna be posting some stuff real soon, looking forward to getting some critiques!

Greetings Polycount, I am just a simple man interested in knowledge about game modeling. Right after this I will be looking for advice on how to get started, and looking up tutorials to help understand and become hopefully someone worth of note one day.
Hola Polycount! Been browsing these forums for inspiration for years and finally joining for real. Look forward to hopefully contributing in some meaningful way in the coming years.
