hey I'm pretty new to this stuff but here's what I've done so far it's still in its infancy.

i know its pretty basic stuff but its enough for me to work from

i might upload to sketchfab if some one wants to have a better look

Well I would say it is too simple. It needs some jaw droping features.

thanks for the suggestion, I did a bit work on it so are you talking about stuff like this? or where you talking about more detail?

edit: I probably should of have baked a AO map $:\$

For the concept, I guess you should put a theme to the set, like adventurer/miner/hunter or something that fits his lore in someway etc, it gives value to the items and helps you to figure out the "jaw dropping" features like shorkgamer said above.

The first image silhoette is pretty weak, in the modelling went better since you added more shapes of the backpack.

For the modelling, you are showing us the base mesh, there's not much to say about it.

yeah I think might start over and draw out solid theme/concept and do it properly
