For the concept, I guess you should put a theme to the set, like adventurer/miner/hunter or something that fits his lore in someway etc, it gives value to the items and helps you to figure out the "jaw dropping" features like shorkgamer said above.
The first image silhoette is pretty weak, in the modelling went better since you added more shapes of the backpack.
For the modelling, you are showing us the base mesh, there's not much to say about it.
